Happy Friday Friends! As another week is closing, we are so excited to share some of our favorite images, that just hit our inbox, from Caroline & Zach’s beautiful ceremony and reception at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens! They celebrated their day full of love surrounded by family and friends!

Missy Christianson of Antonia Christianson Events was their coordinator, and we had a feeling that this ceremony and reception was going to be quite the gorgeous night! There was an amazing team of vendors working side-by-side to make their special moment last forever! From the florals and lighting to the food and videography everything came together seamlessly!

We couldn’t have been more eager for these to hit our inbox, so needless to say we were screaming with joy on the inside when we saw the beautifully captured shots from Eleise Theuer Photography! They truly have lasting images to share for years to come!

Happy, Happy Friday! With another week behind us, we are so excited to share some of our favorite images from Tonia & John’s gorgeous tented reception in the Outer Banks! They celebrated this day full of love with family and friends at The Currituck Club!

Jill Brown of Sunkissed Events was their coordinator, and we just knew this reception was going to be stunning! And no surprise there…it was an awesome team of vendors working together to make the day one to remember for this loving couple!

We couldn’t have be more excited for these to hit our inbox! Meghan Lupyan and the whole team at Sharon Elizabeth Photography captured some fantastic shots during this special day!

Tonia & John were quite simple with an added touch of their own rustic uniqueness! Their reception was elegant meets rustic in a classy and breathtaking way! From farm tables adorned with fantastic floral arrangements to white string bulbs intermixed with ceiling draping. They had it all. We especially loved the dangling string bulbs behind the head table! It added that touch of romance that was in the air.

Without further ado, we are so excited for y’all to see some of this amazingness!

Well another week has come and gone and the most anticipated weekday has finally arrived!!! IT’S FRIDAYYYY!!! We couldn’t be more excited for the weekend ahead!

Last night, we kicked it off with an awesome Thursday night wedding that just made us so much more pumped for the weekend ahead.

With another amazing weekend of weddings ahead, we wanted to share a few images that simply make us want to reminisce on a couple of our recent receptions! From the very much adored string bulbs to a “Tangled” inspired reception…it’s sure to make you a little warm and fuzzy inside on this bright, sunshine-filled day!

Let’s talk about Colleen & Jason’s romantic reception at Trump Winery. Surrounded by family and friends they danced the night away in the Pavilion and Barn. It truly was a beautiful space for not only cocktail hour, but the reception as well. With black string bulbs on the terrace and uplighting in the Pavilion it was a night for them to cherish!

If you are a Disney fan, get ready! Kaleigh & Marcus dreamed of transforming the ballroom at the Portsmouth Renaissance into a “Tangled” masterpiece. It truly looked like a scene out of the popular movie. Celebrating their moment, they had their first dance under a custom design of crystal beads hanging overhead the dance floor. They had projections of the castle and so many other pieces that created art on an air wall. Now talk about a moment to remember! They were amazed and in complete awe that what they dreamed of came to life so so soooo well!

“Flashback” Feature Friday!

YAYAYYAYAY!!! IT’S FRIDAYYYY!!! Bring on another weekend full of amazing weddings!

As we are gearing up for another amazing weekend of weddings, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on a few of our more recent favorite receptions! From a plethora of custom fabrications to uplighting enhancements, it’s ALL on the blog this bright FRI-YAY!

First up, we are “flashing back” to Meredith & Todd’s unforgettable ceremony and reception at the Obici House in Suffolk, VA. We had the pleasure of working with many amazing vendors who helped turn this loving couple’s dream reception into their reality! Keeping with the theme of twinkle lights, we are going to share highlights from such an adorable couple. Kristi & Jeff’s beautiful reception at James River Country Club in Newport News, VA was photographed by Rebecca Keeling Studios and the pictures portray what a magical effect a custom twinkle light canopy can truly give off!

Last but not least, we wanted to include a couple of sneak peeks from a romantic and fun-filled wedding reception we had the honor of lighting last weekend at Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club. Rachel & Ben’s special day included an amazing team of vendors who helped all of the pieces come together! Flashback Feature Friday

Guess what day it is!? That’s right…Happy Flashback Feature Friday!

And today we are flashing back to a romantic and fun-filled wedding ceremony and reception we had the honor of lighting back in August 2015. Pamela and Alex’s special day included an amazing team of vendors who helped all of the pieces come together! Photographed by The Girl Tyler and planned by Michelle Amarillo Event Planning, it was sure to be quite the memorable and beautiful event!

Such breathtaking bouquet arrangements by Studio Posy!

Pamela and Alex incorporated a few of the traditional lighting elements. They had a pinspot on the cake and a wash on their dessert table. The presence of soft and romantic amber uplighting created the feeling of elegance throughout the night. A dance floor wash was used to highlight all of their special moments, from their first entrance into the reception as Mr. & Mrs. to their first dance.

This wedding had a truly elegant yet energetic feel to it! The gorgeous florals from Studio Posy to the fun-loving bridal party captured by The Girl Tyler made this Cape Charles classic yet chic wedding and reception one to remember for Pamela and Alex.
