Happy Flashback Feature Friday! Today we are taking a “flashback” to a winter wedding we had the honor of lighting back in February 2014 shot by Echard Wheeler Photography. We loved the way this bride incorporated all of the traditional lighting elements: uplighting, pinspots on her floral arrangements, and a dance floor wash, but gave her own personal flare with this gorgeous drape design. This wedding had a truly romantic and elegant feel to it from the lush florals from Palette of Petals to the blush uplighting around the perimeter of the space. The use of the dance floor wash really helps to give that “intimate” moment to the couple as they take the stage for their first dance.
We loved the use of fresh rose petals, provided by Palette of Petals, and candlelight to really give an extra bit of warmth to the space.
We love the use of the blush uplighting to soften everything up and give it a glow.
