We hear from brides all the time that selecting event lighting for their wedding can be a bit overwhelming and we don’t blame them! So we were just thrilled to shed a bit of further insight on the Richmond Weddings Blog this past week!
With the Ins and Outs of Event Lighting, we shared the basics of what you needed to know, as well as what to look for when hiring an event lighting specialist. Lucky for us, our friends Pete and Lilliana of PW Photography were able to provide amazing images from recent events together to showcase ways to really dazzle on your Big Day.

The summer is fast approaching, which makes it the perfect time to look back on Liz and Camm’s wedding from this past year. We had the pleasure of teaming again with our friends at Fete Studio for this gorgeous wedding at Historic Tuckahoe Plantation. Just this past April, we were thrilled to find out that Liz and Camm’s Big Day was featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs.

Winner of the Best Event Lighting category at the NACEY awards

With the aim of recognizing top event professionals in Central Virginia, the inaugural NACEY’s are the brainchild NACE Richmond Chapter, an association created to offer rich resources to support, promote and enhance the catering and special events industry.
We’ve been a NACE member for some time now and our very own Jeremy has also served as a key note speaker for one of the monthly meetings. We were just positively thrilled to learn of this latest news!
We would like to thank everyone in the NACE Richmond Chapter for creating such a wonderful event, as well as for their votes. Also, a big thank you to PW Photography for capturing the transformation of The Jefferson Hotel’s Empire Room.

This past week, we had the pleasure of hosting a fun soiree in honor of our one year anniversary at our Richmond office. This year has been fantastic as we have had the pleasure of making friends in the Richmond event industry as well as assisting brides from across the area in making their wedding day dreams come true. We thought- what better way to celebrate a great year then to throw a party!
Our friends Sweet Water Cuisine did a wonderful job with the catering while Ice Art took everyone’s breath away with their amazing ice sculpture that craftily doubled as an ice luge. We were also lucky to have the always wonderful folks at Classic Party Rentals to provide us with the linens and tables for the event as well as AFR for the great lounge furniture.
We were lucky to have DJ Lord Thomas on hand to spin tunes while Debby with Sugar Buzz LLC gave everyone a chance to give into their sweet tooth with her amazing petite fours.
A big thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate- we look forward to working with you for many years to come!
