With Halloween being this Friday, not sure how it snuck up on us so fast, this Trendy Tuesday is dedicated to fun lighting looks for the holiday! To really make your venue space feel like the perfect Halloween bash, we definitely suggest using uplighting to set the mood for the nights festivities! Purples, oranges, and ambers are perfect for this theme! Don’t be afraid to step out of the box on this one!

Happy Weekend! We are gearing up for an exciting weekend of weddings and events here at The Blue Steel Offices! In the mean time, we stumbled across this gorgeous wedding from earlier this year held at
The Hermitage Museum and Gardens. Shanley and Raymond’s wedding day took place on May 25, 2014. Their outdoor reception took place in a giant tent lined with chandeliers amidst the lush gardens. We loved the elegant feel of the whole day. We could not stop looking at all of the gorgeous images that Sharon Elizabeth Photography took of their special day. Here is just a glimpse of some of our favorites. Special thanks to Michelle Amarillo Event Planning for all of her handwork putting this day together.

This Thursday we are changing things up a bit. We are taking our typical “Throwback Thursday” and adding a “Thirsty Thursday” feel to it. We are featuring Erica and Nick’s big day from back in November 2012. Their gorgeous wedding took place in the ever so lovely Williamsburg Winery !! Who doesn’t love a wedding at a winery?
We also loved working with photographer, Amanda Hedgepath, who captured this perfect fall day so beautifully!
